Lowlands 2009

Another Top festival

Favourite tent had to be X-Ray for the DubStep, Experimental and Alternative flavours
Rusko, Mala, Health, Gang Gang Dance all banging it out there.
Other top names for me were, The Gaslamp Killer, Them Crooked Vultures, Fever Ray, Speedy J,
Squarepusher and the Arctic Monkeys.

The Theme for me this year was The Return of the Complex Arrangement.
Them Crooked Vultures and Squarepusher topping the bill.
Squarepusher played a set of 80's metal guitar intricacy (On the bass). Rockin.
While, Them Crooked Vultures had a definite return to the Zepplin feel.
Arctic Monkeys still on the rise with a 3rd and again different feel also had
touches of this songwriting madness too. Played a stormer.

All of the above combined with good company, a sea of people watching and
whatever else grabbed your fancy made it once again a great few days.
